Frozen Shoulder

What is Frozen Shoulder?

Frozen shoulder is a condition that results in pain and restricted movement in the shoulder. It is often referred to in medical texts as “adhesive capsulitis”

Frozen shoulder that has no know cause is a usually a self-limiting condition.  It can take a minimum of 2.5 years to resolve without my treatment protocol.

How can I help?

I use a unique combination of the Gonstead System of chiropractic, Trigenics myoneural medicine and exercise physiology.

The system works by utilising the bodys natural healing mechanisms, to reset the way the brain communicates with the body.  This system is completely natural and gentle. It does not use any medication or surgery, it is completely hand ons. The system involves very specific chiropractic adjustments to remove subluxations (disfunctional areas of the nervous system), release of muscle points and highly individual exercises protocols.

This system is very gentle and works with the bodys innate ability to heal itself, it does not involve any forcefull or painful movements, it resets the neurological system within the brain to gently release the restrictions.

Basics about frozen shoulder.

  • Usually affects women age 40-60 years
  • Most often there is no known cause
  • Affects left arm more than the right
  • More common with patients who have diabetes or thyroid disorders.
